Cleanfarms Announces New Director of Western Canada

ETOBICOKE, Ontario, Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cleanfarms is pleased to announce Davin Johnson as the new Director of Western Canada for the organization.

Johnson brings a wealth of in-house experience to the position. He first joined the organization in 2015 as a site supervisor for the Unwanted Pesticides and Livestock Medications (UPLM) collection program and continued to support multiple collection events across Western Canada in subsequent years. In 2019, he worked with Cleanfarms as a contractor to help develop the foundation of the "Alberta Ag-Plastic. Recycle It!" pilot program before joining the organization full-time in January 2020 as Alberta Program Advisor. Since then, he has lead Cleanfarms' stewardship programs in Alberta while working closely with producers, municipalities, industry partners, recyclers, and government to expand recycling initiatives and support program development across Canada’s western provinces.
